Place the Toe Warmer sample vertically in the center of the tensile testing machine fixture and clamp it. Start the device to zero in the tension and displacement readings, and then apply axial pull to the sample at a constant rate until the load reaches 500N. This target load is maintained for 60 seconds, during which the deformation, structural integrity, and whether there is any damage or separation of the sample are continuously observed. After the test, the sample state and maximum displacement data are recorded.
