Experimental Procedure:
1. Environmental Conditioning: The test is conducted within a controlled climate chamber to simulate a standardized ambient environment for product usage.
2. Sample Preparation: Multiple samples are unsealed sequentially to initiate the exothermic oxidation reaction within a specified timeframe.
3. Sensor Placement: High-precision temperature probes (thermocouples) are securely fastened to the ocular contact surface (the side facing the eyes) of the mask, targeting both the geometric center and peripheral zones.
4. Real-time Monitoring: A multi-channel temperature data logger is utilized to capture and display real-time thermographic data, including the heat-up rate, peak temperature, and thermal equilibrium status.
5. Data Export & Analysis: Upon completion of the test cycle, the raw data is exported for comprehensive analysis regarding temperature rise kinetics, thermal stability, and batch-to-batch consistency.
