The requirements of test environment:

Stable temperature 25±1°C, windless, Humidity: 50-60%

Instrument requirement:

Cotton Towel, Multiplex Data Tester and Temperature probe or sensor (0-100 ℃)

Test Procedure:

Step 1: Prepare the air activated hand warmers and heat preservation layer, we use the cotton towel as a heat preservation layer, and put it on the top and bottom of air activated warmer to simulate when people use this in pocket or gloves or clothes. (To prevent loss of thermal energy, the whole test apparatus is covered with a towel);

Step 2: Putting the probe/ sensor at the back side of the hand warmers to test, then use the adhesive tape to fix ( Note: the front side and back side of the hand warmers should be distinguished as below picture ):

Step 3:Then putting all hand warmers face up when start to test (pls see pics), because the air holes are located in the front of the hand warmers, forbid to put the front of hand warmer ( air holes ) faced down during test, otherwise the air holes will be blocked and can not be reacted with oxygen of air fully, the temperature and heating time will be affected accordingly;

Step 4: Covering the front of the hand warmers with another cover sheet. The recording of temperature and heating time starts automatically.
